Prefabricated walls

Shell/double walls

Advantages:

  • workshop design of walls as an element of the „inBetPref” system
  • designing the shapes and dimensions according to custom needs
  • vast range of possibilities used in housing, public utility and industrial construction
  • application to interior and exterior walls
  • high quality of prefabricated walls surface eliminates the need for plastering
  • possibility of installing window and door joinery at the prefabrication stage
  • possibility of installing additional accessories (holes, electrical boxes, conduits, etc.)
  • minimising the scope and time of installation and finishing works on the construction site

Shell/double walls - technical information:

  • the shell/double wall is a permanent formwork
  • wall thickness ranging from 16 cm to 38 cm
  • thickness of a single layer in a composite wall ranging from 5 cm to 7 cm
  • weight of the prefabricated element stretches from 250 to 350 kg / m2 of the wall
  • max. wall dimensions 3.3 m x 12.0 m
  • wall chamfering 88°/88°
  • deliveries up to 70 m2 on a transport trailer

Three-layer composite walls

Technical information:

  • an insulation layer that functions as thermal and acoustic insulation
  • wall thickness ranging from 20 cm to 38 cm
  • thickness of a single layer in a composite wall ranging from 5 cm to 7 cm
  • dilatation between the external facade layers
  • PIR insulation layer, mineral wool or polystyrene ranging from 3 cm to 15 cm
  • U heat transfer coefficient from 0.15 W m -2 ·K-1
  • weight of the prefabricated element ranging from 250 to 350 kg / m 2 of the composite wall
  • max. wall dimensions 3.3 m x 12.0 m
  • deliveries up to 70 m2 on a transport trailer
Single-layer wall (reinforced concrete)
Three-layer wall

Prefabricated sandwich walls

Technical information:

  • wall thickness available from 10 cm to 38 cm
  • U heat transfer coefficient from 0.11 W·m-2 ·K-1 for walls with insulation
  • U heat transfer coefficient below 4.47 W·m-2 ·K-1 for single-layer walls (reinforced concrete)
  • weight of the prefabricated element depending on the thickness and number of individual layers:
    1. from 250 kg/m2 for single and double-layer walls
    2. from 400 kg/m2 for three-layer walls
  • max. wymiar ściany 3,3 m x 12,0 m

Prefabricated walls – execution stage:

  • minimisation of reinforcement works at the construction site
    1. for composite walls, the meshes are only welded at the wall joints
    2. for multi-layer wall panels, connecting walls, e.g. with the use of system connectors of the "loop box" type
  • no formwork required
  • in the case of shell/double walls, staged concreting
  • for external walls, the outer layer is the formwork of the ring beam
  • walls are equipped with mounting sleeves for supports and transport hooks
  • no need to carry out works from the outside of the walls with the use of work platforms / OHS

Types of edge formwork:

Two types of wall edge formwork can be used:

  • steel mesh - as a formwork, ending any concreting stage
  • formwork, e.g. chipboard - as formwork for window and door openings

Advantages of prefabrication:

  • labour costs cutting by reducing the labour intensity on the construction site
  • shortening the work schedule
  • reduction of costs hiring the formwork system
  • lowering costs of finishing works as a result of high-quality prefabricated elements
  • reducing the cost of work equipment at the construction site
  • reducing the risk associated with weather conditions
  • reducing the amount of waste on site
  • the increase of safety at the construction site
  • quick and easy assembly of prefabricated elements
