The floor is manufactured on the basis of the filigran (semi-precast concrete) technology, i.e. on the bottom there is a 3-5 cm layer of concrete with hollow clay blocks, or expanded clay blocks, added at the precasting plant to a certain height A above the hollow block bottom as specified in the design. Only the joints between the precast elements and joints by reinforced concrete bond beam. The floor features all the characteristics of semi-precast filigran type floor, however, the required labour intensity is similar to that required in the case of hollowcore floor.

Advantages:

  • it is possible to adjust the entire geometry of precast elements to the floor plan – individual statics.
  • low assembly weight: between 2.80 and 5.08 kN/m2.
  • reduction of dead load from 25 to 40 % as compared to semi-precast filigran type floors / cast-in-situ floors, savings of steel
  • savings of the assembly support – the first support should be 1.0 m from the wall, and one support should be in the middle of the span width, at the joint of precast elements.
  • steel consumption at the construction site equals ca. 15-25 % of the reinforcement used in the case of semi-precast filigran floors / cast-in-situ floors
  • the floor is constructed in time 80% shorter as compared to semi-precast filigran type floors and 90% shorter as compared to cast-in-situ floors.

total cost of the floor construction is 12-17% lower than the cost of cast-in-situ floor or semi-precast filigran type floor.

AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE:

  • place the semi-precast elements
  • place the upper reinforcement
  • set in concrete

Note: the floor is supported linearly 1.0 m from the wall and with one support in the middle of the span width at the joint of the precast elements.

Minimum reinforcement at the construction site – the labour intensity is reduced by 95%!!!
